I just set it in where the rudder goes and slip one pin in. I also have a 4" X 4" block cut to the right height. That way my mast rides on the bow pulpit, the block and the roller in back. It is just the opposite on my 26. With the extra shrouds the 26 raises better from front to back. It's easyier on the 26 because I have adjustable back stay on it.
