but in Washington it isn't hard to 'fix' bad info on the registration. When I bought my CM 4C there was a 'made up' HIN on the paperwork. I took a picture of the hull impression and also, at the request of the registration people, made a paper 'rubbing' of the impression with a pencil.
They were happy and now I have all the right info on my paperwork!
