In Response To: keel cable (cory considine cm 21 & cm 26)

I have done the same thing but at the boat dock letting the boat float down off the trailer then pulling the trailer up the ramp, bopat sliding back and lettingthe keel drop then after replacing the cable crank the keel up, re-float, and crank it up. Just be sure to use BIG wheel chocks and have your truck in Park and E brakes on...... I like the idea of the wood plank, because a couple of extra inches would be helpful...
