I sanded and painted my keel with a rust inhibitor then later painted it with the same epoxy as the hull. Believe it or not it's been out of the water for almost two years and the salt water is still dripping out of the keel??????? I don't know how to stop it! Good luck with yours, Tom in Tampa, cm26
