Posted By: Leroy CM23TK Gulf 29 PH Helena MT Date: 8/29/08 8:46a.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: A-frame (link) (Mike Laine CM26 San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico) The clipper stick I just manhandle, but the Gulf's stick is a bit to heavy for that (36' 4" x 7" oval. guestimated weight around 150 or so.) and am looking at a way of stepping the mast without having to use a crane. How do you keep the mast from swaying left and right while lifting to a single point. Do you use stays to steady it? Do you have people with lines to hold it from swaying? Thanks for the pics. it looks like it works well.
