I was having a major problem with that this year and last year also. I epoxied and did everything I could think of the stop water from coming in. I finally found the source and fixed it. The previous owner removed the locking bolt for the keel and filled in the hole with silicone. After who knows how long the silicone developed a small leak which worsened over the last year. I removed the old silicone and re-filled in the hole. No more leak...no more water in the V berth. One thing I found puzzling, there is a small nut on top of the keel trunk at the front. Directly in the center (from right to left) on top and only a few inches back from the front of the keel trunk. Anyone know what that is for?
