Yes, The boat is a clipper Marine 21' circa 1971. H.I.N. # 291

The boat came to me as a gift from my room mate, It belonged to his uncle and mentor. When he was young he was take out sailing on this boat. The uncle died and left the boat to my room mate, who just left her in storage for the last 8 or 10 years. I have now convinced him to sign the boat over to me in hope of restoring and sailing her.

All picks are of original hardware. (as far as I can tell) From what I gather the original owner (My room mates uncle) was not one to search far and wide for a part. I cant think of a PC way to say it, so lets just say I highly doubt he bought these parts. The trailer has a black CA license plate, and the title says 1971.

I got the boat in some what of a dismantled state, and am trying to figure out where all these things go.

Part in question, Where dose this mount?Photobucket

P.S. I am new to sailing so pardon my ignorance in what is what and where things go.

Thanks for all the help.
