Posted By: Henry CM26 Date: 9/3/08 5:09p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: A-frame (link) (Mike Laine CM26 San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico) Mike, You have to be kidding to be in the cockpit while doing this! I know everything is USUALLY ok, but I've seen one of those CM26 masts come falling down from about 1/2 way up and you could kill yourself. Unless you're lifting the mast from laying over the bow, and I know you're not. Careful Man, being under that thing at all just sounds dangerous to me. That's what I love about your A-frame, it puts the lifter in front of the step and out of the fall zone.
