A pod of dolphin caught me napping one afternoon and we had the time of our lives! The lift on the sail allowed for better view. As for the jib sheets wearing, I let the air carry the sail over using the rudder to fill and then there's very little friction from me trying to force it hauling in the sheet. Once in a while I have to get tough with her but that's the exception.
