I hope this is not to lame of a question, What and where is the false bilge everyone speaks of? I grew up on power boats and every boat I've been on had a real bilge. ( a low area where water can collect and be pumped out) Another thing is the plug, My CM came with some boat plugs ( you know the ones power boaters forget to put in when launching) The only spot I could find to install a plug is in the engine well ( more like an engine depression) and seems like it is pointless? my first sail on "Solo" I just sail screw it and put her in while waiting at the dock for her to fill up with water. Do these boats not use a plug? Do they not have a true bilge? Is the water just meant to collect in front of the V berth, As this seems to be the lowest point in my the boat.
With no bilge is there any way to mount a bilge pump in a CM 21? Or were these boats just made to not take on any water?
A boat with no bilge or pump just don't seem right.
Thanks for all the help and advice.
