(Cope, CM 21 #291, "Solo") Quite frankly I didn't know what else to call it. Yes, a bilge is at the lowest part of the boat, collects "stuff" that you pump out. I don't know about the other CM's, but the 26 has an area that is a sealed void (see my pics) that can fill up with water when the keel comes crashing down and crshes the fiberglass, that's how I found it. It's not reall a bilge, because there is no access unless you cut an access hole to it (possible, but concerned about structural integrity). Seach the archives aon false bilge..... Can't help you on the 21....good luck.
