Hi Blaine, the type anchor that fits in the bracket on the bow pulpit is a fortress 25 lb I believe, it will hold 5000 lbs. I have two of them on my boat, one I keep on the bow the other under the cockpit in the storage area, I use it in storm situations or when putting out a bahamian anchoring setup.

As far as stanchions and life lines are concerned, you have a couple of options, 1. take the boat to a stainless fabricating shop and have them make you some, or2. find a boat that's beeing parted out and get them there.

Does your boat at least have a bow pulpit and stern rails? That is the only hard part. The standard stanchions you can buy at west marine or some other large marine store.

Hope this helps, Tom in Tampa CM-26
