I'm currently preping a 30' Islander to bring it into Mexico next fall. My wife and I plan to spend some time in the Sea of Cortez, on and off over the next couple of years (still have to do some work). I've got a 30 gal water tank on the boat and was wondering if I should put in a water maker... Likely will not be making any long or extended passages, is purified water readily available? Also, I've only got an ice box, should I be considering refridgeration. Any other suggested upgrades?
