i'm jealous.
that puts you one step ahead of the mechanico in tampico who replaced my blown lower radiator hose. his entire set of tools consisted of a rusty pair of pliers. he does good work.
280 pesos ($26.66 US) covered the new hose, a gallon of replacement antifreeze and his labor. it was completed within an hour of the time the old hose blew out.
this happened on the trip back and totally negated the $100 mordida that i left with the policeman in tampico/altamira on the way down...
ahhhhhh... mejico... where life is fair and just.
