In Response To: Boat Show (Black Grandpa Dave)

Gerry works hard at promoting sailing in the Sea of Cortez. His charts are always upto date. Here is a pic from a survey cruise that my wife and I did with him last summer. I always learn alot sailing with him. One thing that I have learned from Gerry that has increased my sailing skills is that, only as the last resort will he power up the outboard. Once he is out of his slip at the marina it's sails up. He is a patient sailor and conserves fuel and lets the wind do the work. I quess that's what you would expect from the former Sec. of Energy of AZ.
