Loreto Fest

Report: outside forum guidelines

On May 4, 5, 6 and 7, I'm thinking it would be fun to participate in this year's Loreto Fest.

That time of year, would it likely be, roughly, a beam reach to Puerto Escondido from San Carlos...? ..and about 100 miles, straight-line, distance....?

That probably makes more sense than sailing across to Santa Rosalia or Mukege and riding a spinnaker down the coast...

Any thoughts?

Any one else thinking about sailing out of San Carlos and joining the Loreto Fest..?

Any advice from those who have made this trip this time of year..?

Are there any monohulls willing to buddy-boat-slum with a Stiletto 27 catamaran poking along with you for the trip over...or any tri's willing to sail with and bet virgin pina coladas on who stays ahead on the sail there...?

Anyone know if Don, Mary and Snafu are kicking around there and if they might be planning on attending?
