My enjoyment of power and sail boats has ebbed and flowed, over time.
I really like both our command bridge bayliner and our sailboat, at different times and for different reasons.
I certainly didn't like it when our (then motorless) sailboat was be-calmed and then T-boned by a power boat, which was trolling and being piloted by two guys who were paying more attention to their ice chest and beer drinking than how close they were coming to us.
I did like it when we blew up our unirigged main (no head sail) in a blow, eventually swamped our very small outboard and were towed back to the harbor by a pleasant power boater.
When enjoying the sea on our sailboat, I've even been known to press the (now bigger and more reliable) motor into service, from time to time.
From my perspective, twirps are twirps and nice people are nice people....and sometimes twirps can be found doing really nice and good things and sometimes nice people can be found doing some pretty twirpy things....whether either are on shore, in cars, planes, trains, malls, sailboats or power boats.
Maybe I'm just getting older ...but generally life is great and so are lots of people...lots of the time...well...most of the time.... well ..... some of the time....on the other hand....once in a while..... well...... maybe I'm just getting older....
Where di I put that Metamucil..?
