re locating new boat

Report: outside forum guidelines

am going to be buying a 47' pilothouse (powerboat) and will be waiting it out for a San Diego slip in San Carlos. Will probably buy it up in Washington, or the Bay Area. I live in Scottsdale so San Carlos is a logical place for me. Any issues of theft or problems with security there? I will be re-locating it on it's bottom around Baha. Am open to advice.....
