You have to declare everything you are bringing in. There is a web site (can't remember where) that give you all the dope. Once you get your list (inventory) of items (make about 5 copies at least) and check in with the Consulate in Nogales. They'll have you out of there in about an hour or so with all your paperwork and your FM-3. There are requirements on income (retirement or assets)It used to be about a grand a month, don'tknow what it is now. Anyway, check in on Mexico Connect and they should have the links to get you what you need.
