I contacted XM, they tell me that they are actually only licenced to broadcast in the Greater USA, excludes Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska but even with signal strength that meets international regs, there is coverage in some areas. The weather coverage that I am referring to is not verbal but are downloads that go directly to the GPS unit and show up as an overlay on the screen. From what you are saying, you are getting coverage in the SOC.
