Don Carlson on Snafu shipwrecked on the Baja

Has anyone heard anything more concerning Don (and Mary Carlson sailing Snafu out of San Carlos) regarding their ship wreck on the Baja?
This is what I've heard:

Holes in the main hull and the port ama is ripped throught on the bottom. I spent a few days down in Lapaz and picked up enough stuff to build a boat. The highest tide of the the year is on Monday, so I'm doing all the patching and rock moving I can untill then. John, from Bela Via is here and will stay until I can sail back to San Carlos so that we can buddy boat back. Hope to be back in San Carlos next week. Adios, for now, Mister SNAFU
