I've noticed that US Customs officers like to "talk" to our dog when we bring him across the border with us. They ask us the dogs name, call him, and as long as he looks over to them to see what's up, they seem fine. I have offered the papers, but they turn them down saying, we know he's your dog. Someday I am going to go across the border and the dog being in a pouty mood, will ignore the customs officers. My fear is that this result in me being strip searched and probed where the sun doesn't shine. March 10th I head back down to my boat!
