Hey Bill, Mike here. Don tried to get his Snafu back here two days ago. He ran into problems with rough seas and high winds. No motor and taking on water! Called for help around 5:30 or 6 PM 2 days ago. Burt on Island Woman went out to try and locate them without any luck. He said there were 8 - 10ft seas and it was fairly ugly. The Mexican Navy ended up pulling them off the boat sometime around 11:00 PM. We went out looking for her about 10:30 yesterday morning with coordinates from the Navy which put the boat about 29 NM from Punta Double. Water was still rough and turned around about half way to that point which seemed to be incorrect info. Don went out again on Bravo about 4:30 PM with new coordinates from the port Captain which placed the boat 13 miles south of Guyamas and 1 mile off shore. They ended up anchoring for the night and the last I heard this morning at 9:00 AM was that they still had not located the boat but were continuing the search. Wish them luck, they need it.
