If they are the similarly-described critters I have seen, they are a brilliant blue jellyfish the color of tropical water. I saw them in Topolobampo Bay; a local fisherman picked one up without getting stung, but there seemed to be some sort of trick to his handling of it.

Beautiful things. Can't take 'em home, though.
