Mexican Fishing Permit Costs???

John, thanks for the info and the alert on those pesky blue bubble jelly fish.

We've tangled with those things a time or two and never thought it much fun....though a spray bottel full of diluted ammonia, followed by a dose of some liquide and topical bnedryl works wonders.

I'm guessing they should be gone by time we get there the first part of October.

Does anyone know how much it will cost for a Mexican fishing permit will cost while we are goofing off between San Carlos, Mulege and Loreto???

Where in San Carlos can they be purchased?

We're planning to be there between October 4 and the 14th.

What should we be fishing for and what types of bait or lures would you recommend?

Would you think it beneficial or a bother to hire a ponga for a 1/2 day of fishing.

What do you think it would cost to hire a ponga for four or five gringos?
