In Response To: Mexican Fishing Permit Costs??? (Tom T. House)

I only have purchased yearly permits in the past but i know you can get daily or possibly weekly permits. The total cost will depend on the size of your boat, how many people onboard (fishing or not) and if you have a dinghy that will be used occasionally for fishing. You are really looking at several permits ie: one for the boat, one for every person on board, one for the dinghy. Permits can be obtained in a small white building on the right side of the main strip just before you get to the last intersection closest to Marina San Carlos, ask around if this sounds confusing. We paid the equivalent of around two hundred US for a year's worth on a 37' boat w/2 people on board plus dinghy. Makes for very expensive fish fillets most years...
