I'd bet lunch at a cheap place that if the cruise ships start coming, the place will develppe "licky split".

If one looks at places like Cabo, Carman, Cosumel, etc., they weren't all that big or develpoed, but when the tourist $$ started pour ing in with the cruise ships, etc., shore side businesses, bloomed in an instant, and the surrounding areas started thinking about how they could cash in.

If I remember right, one of the past El Presidents of Mexico, wanted to make the area a real tourist haven, and improved the streets and infra structure for San Carlos. However, at that time they didn't come and much is left to ruin.

Now it is only a matter of time...

Scuba diving, boat excursions, horse riding, jeep trips, glass bottom boats, para sailing, trinkets and such, night clubs, restaraunts, etc., etc.

If there's a dollar to be had, you cna bet enterprise will flurish....

Hang on to your hat.
