Joel, I'd recommend San Carlos or Guaymas. Assuming you trailering down. Lotsa good places to sail to out of San Carlos and close enough to the Baja if you want to go there. I'm getting ready to make a run from SFran to Hilo and was originally going to park my boat in La Pax (free airplane rides) but decided to just take it back to Sfran until spring and they take her to Nayarit.. Whatever you decide really won't make a lot of difference as you'll have a ball.
