In Response To: October weather on the Sea? (link) (Baja Trekker)

I have a stout 19 foot trailer sailer (WWP) and am wondering if anyone has any thoughts concerning sailing from San Carlos to Banderas Bay? I must confess that I don't currently have much knowldedge of prevailing winds/currents or hazards of this route. Thanks
