February is usually a month of fairly strong winds and seas from the north. That said, there is usually pretty good sailing in the bay that is covered from the worst of the north chop. Marina San Carlos has mooring buoys, but they are usually all taken. Check with them and see. They usually can fit you in on the docks somewhere. What kind of boat do you have? If you're careful, you can have a good time. If any of your people get sick of the sailing, there's plenty of hiking, and lots of other stuff to do in town. Johnny of STORK
