i know mancos well. half way between hesperus and cortez. been through there many times. i used to ski in hesperus when i was a kid (1963). great-great grandparents lived in hesperus a hundred years ago - jarvis was their name. my brother still lives in la plata. we used to go fishing up on the dolores. but that was years ago. come sail on cochiti sometime. they pulled the marina out a couple years ago so we bought a 52 ft. steel houseboat for an on-the-water clubhouse for the sailors. here's a short video from last weekend... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU1-dC-G31Q i'm heading for san carlos in the second half of december. if you're still down on the SOC maybe we'll meet up. -dusty
