hi john, for tides you can download one of the free programs on line for tides worldwide anyday anytime and print whatever applies to the days/weeks you'll be there if you don't carry a laptop or access it thru an internet cantina in BoLA. Gerry Cunigham also publishes a booklet. For weather if you have no SSB and can't get a VHF report from a fellow sailor, check something like Sailflow.com, full of good info, often accurate. Winter weather is indeed very predictable, have fun. Alain
