In Response To: Fixing up a Tahiti? Buying a glass one? (WayneS)

If anybody is interested I am building in Melbourne a Tahiti ketch in solid fiber glass ( Walrus), hull is finished decks on , interior fit out almost complete and we have just completed rigging Walrus as a cutter the exact same rigging as the lyle Hess 29 foot pilot cutter including bowsprit and boomkin. She is dark green with light cream decks the spars are painted buff and from a distance look like Spruce.I have photos if anyboby is interested and happy to disscuss the modifications we have made. Cheers.
