I think anytime you enter into a country, you have to clear customs. In Ensenada (and other places in Mexico) they have what looks like a walk/don't walk light in the middle of the room. I was not sure what it was until the end when the customs officer asked me to "push the button". It is a random generator, green means go, red means you get a through inspection by a customs officer. I was pleased to get a green. Had a similar thing at the airport as we cleared customs as well. Winds are finally starting to lighten up a bit and hope to get over to Espritos Sanctos for a few days....
