I have a Hunter 146 with a beach trailer. I have taken it to RP for the past 4 years and launched from Sandy Beach. I have never had a problem. This year the "New" beach police even drove by as i was pulling it down to the water with a quad and did not say a thing. Though they immediatly stopped a couple that where just joy riding on a quad. I sail along the beach and some times around the point. I do have a Colorado boater registration sticker on the boat.

Enjoy.
