Report: outside forum guidelines

I thought this may be of some passing interest to some who visit this forum.

Another site's posting stated:

After traveling to San Carlos and staying for a time, this poster then decided to go further.

Rather than drive back to K21... they stated... "Two weeks ago, I got my "All Mexico" vehicle permit at the Km 98 facility south of Empalme. Took about 15 minutes. Make sure you have all your docs in order (passport, driver's license, vehicle registration, FM-T or FM-3) plus a valid credit card or debit card, and you should be good to go.

Not sure if Km 98 is open 24 hours a day, but I assume so. If not, I'm not sure how early in the morning they open."

FWIW,

-- K.H.

The only open question on that forum is, if you get the permit at one place, can you turn it in at another ...?
