Google Earth - Chesapeake Bay

Report: outside forum guidelines

In Response To: Google Earth in the SOC (Charlie Phillips, P-19, Portland OR)

I know that is not of interest to this forum, but what is relevant is accuracy. I have checked a few dozen points in remote areas of the Delmarva coast and never found the disagreement to be more than 100'. Very handy.

Unlike the Cortez, everything on the barrier islands moves, and Google Earth is far more current than any other maps.
