I've never crossed but strongly recommend anyone who does to log their trip with Club Deportivo in Kino. They have a voluteer search and rescue and vhf radio monitoring that can provide assistance to any boater all the way to LA Bay. It's called Rescue One and you can learn more about these nice people at www.kinobayclubdeportivo.com , they also have a launch service at Kino for about $10 to avoid putting your vehicle in salt water. I'm sure if you talk to these people they will have info and tips about crossing. Hope this helps, Have fun, Don Parsons
