1. Marina San Carlos very helpfully offered the following:

To stay at our Marina we ask for the (following) boat documentation: Registracion, title or certificate. Insurance liability 10 years temporary import permit

You can buy it here in San Carlos at Hambone Insurance or Iberri's .

2. Another person offered the following observation, regarding Boat Liability Insurance:

I was at the marina office last week asking this very question. Insurance is not required to launch - only if you are going to get a slip.
