In Response To: Could San Carlos become like Rocky Point? (Tom T. House)

We have a substantial deposit on an oceanfront front condo in the Pelican Cove development in San Carlos, Sonora. It has been 9 months since we made this investment and the construction has not begun. The developer has indicated that the subprime mortgage crisis has slowed financing but construction will be underway soon. We are concerned that this development will not proceed and our money will be in limbo or lost. We would like to be in contact with other investors in this development to share information and, if nessessary, take action collectively. Please email us if you have also invested in this project. Hopefully, we will eventually be neighbors. The less appealling possibility is that we will be partners in a class action law suit. Ethier way, I think there is a benefit in making contact.
