Hello polvo and all....I'm new and don't quite follow the threads here...has anyone helped answer your musings on sailing Mexico's east coast? I am specifically interested in Campeche and Yucatan, as I am writing a guidebook on the region for Michelin and they are considering including a sailing map if we find information of interest. Looks like they aren't commonly sailed waters? The pirates and the spaniards seem to have navegated them without too much trouble...

I appreciate any light you all can shed. Megan in Veracruz (haven't set foot on a sailboat since I left the SF bay and my friend's dad's 72 foot handbuilt wooden Rowena at the age of 14, and its a shame.)
