sorry megan. i don't have any additional information about sailing that area. perhaps someone else has something helpful for you... or, there's always the google search that might pull up some new information.

i'll leave you with a few links to places where you'll find sailors who have sailed those waters:

2) the annual Race to Veracruz 2008 Organized by Lakewood Yacht Club and Galveston Bay Cruising Association

and finally... this website of a sailor who does his sailing in the western caribbean but works as a commercial supply boat captain for drilling rigs off the east coast of mexico in the area you are interested in. you cansend him email via his website and ask if he might have information for you.
