In Response To: Confusion over leaving boat in Mexico (WayneS)

Wayne, I'm not sure about your van, but to leave your boat you need to get a 10 year permit. They have really started to crack down on this. They used to be free, but now they cost about $60.00. I got mine in Guymas. No hastle just fill out some paper work. You need reg. on boat and trailer, drivers lic., and they made a copy of my passport. NO CHECKS OR CC CASH ONLY. I'm sure someone can answer about the van.
