10 year permit for boat & trailer

Do a search on the San Carlos forum and find the link to the site for temporary import permits. I filled it out, paid with a credit card, and had my decal, permit, and a couple of papers to sign and return (you can also return to Banjercito at Km21) within two days (they send FedEx). Much easier. That way you don't even have to stop at the Km21 if you already have your visa. You do need to have boat registration numbers, hull and engine ID #s.
