Here's one from another forum. One guy suggested periodically washing sheets and lines in mild soap and water and then rinsing in a fabric softener. I've done that a number of ties at the end of our sailing season and had favorable results. The sheets and lines are more pliable and certainly smell nicer. That's gotta be a good thing, doesn't it???
