In Response To: travelifts (WayneS)

HI I am new to this chat group. Would love some advice on Sea of Cortez sailing. I have a Laguna 26 on a trailer and want to tow it to Sea of Cortez later this year or someitme next winter when it is not so hot. She needs 4.5 feet of water at the forward end of the hull bunks to float on/off the trailer. What might be a good port for launching? I have read already that San Carlos has travelifts, which would also be ok. What is a good time of year for pleasant sailing, around 10-15 knots of wind? Are there good spots to anchor overnight as you go? How about guide books? I would greatly appreciate any good info. Tkx! Albert
