We did not leave San carlos until April Fool's Day, had a very nice crossing to Isla San Marcos and took our time heading South towards La Paz. initally thought of going to Mazatlan after that but got to la Paz at the height of the Swine flue hysteria, people wearing masks in the streets etc, decided that staying on the Baja might be a better idea than sailing to the mainland. Had to leave the boat in MLP and fly home for a few weeks, temperatures were quite a bit warmer by the time we got back to The Moon. Took us six weeks to get up to San Carlos, lots of warm waters snorkling/spearfishing, little or no bees, great Chocolate feast at La Ramada but not much luck with Dorados. Crossing back from Santa Rosalia was almost a beat and quite bouncy but the Easterlies held up all the way and we made it in 12 and a half hours which is good for us. Boat was back in dry storage by first week of July. That's it for 2009.
