Yep...stuff is (in reality)...what stuff is....no matter what we think or hear. Nice pun on the "Bye Jimena". On the other hand, I'm guessing the picture you posted at 2:32 a.m. of a nice day in paradise while flying a spinnaker, is not showing the actual "current" conditions. Great photo of sailing in paradise conditions. A Poster on another site, who is a full-time resident of San Carlos, posted the following observations at 05:58 AM Today: "....you are right about this monster being over the top of us. we should see the winds switch direction sometime soon. I just got back from marina real and checking on the boats in the bay that broke loose and are on the beach. marina real is fine. the boats on the beach are taking a beating. buoy weather just posted this updated forecast Thursday 9/3 Morning Gale warning with dangerous seas. Small craft advisory. Use extreme caution. Large short period wind waves. Winds: SSE 35 to 47 knots Seas: SSE 15 feet at 8 sec. Afternoon Gale warning with dangerous seas. Small craft advisory. The radar shows the rain picking up through tomorrow, hope this is not the case Most of San Carlos just lost power. strange looking out at all dark. A few hours ago the large boat out in the bay was seeing constant 40 kts with much higher gust. right now it is really blowing hard. we are seeing winds 15 MPH higher than we have seen all night"
