This photo was taken in Jan 05 from a helicopter off the coast of Ft Myers Beach, FL. I am returning from a short solo cruise. I purchased photo and rights to reproduce from www.boatpix.com. Great to see a new forum for gaff rigs. Having owned cutters, sloops and ketchs I think a gaff catboat is the cats meow.
I'm the old gaffer as Gimli is only 26 years old. Oh, to be twenty six again.
