In Chapters 12 & 13 he covers sailing with a gaff mainsail. I was wondering if anyone else had come across books - mostly out of print dealing with trim and sail handleing. In this book, Mr. Calahan states that the marconi rig is a passing fad and he is sure sailors would return too it. I guess he is right.
